Official Sweepstakes Rules (draft for a future promotion)

1. No purchase necessary

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

In plain terms: you can always get Sweeps Coins free (section 4). Sweeps Coins received free are exactly the same as Sweeps Coins that come as a bonus with a League Coin pack. Buying a pack never improves your chances or your prizes.

2. Promotion period

The promotion would run from [START DATE AND TIME] to [END DATE AND TIME] ([TIME ZONE]), unless ended earlier as allowed by these rules and the law.

3. Eligibility

The promotion is open only to people who:

• are at least 18 years old, or older where their state sets a higher minimum age;
• live in, and are physically located in, a state listed as "Sweeps Coins available (future)" on the Eligible states page, both when they play and when they redeem;
• hold one Fan Fortune account in their own name;
• are not on a break or self-exclusion.

Employees, officers and directors of the Sponsor, its affiliates and its promotion, verification and payment agencies, and members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible. [CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL]

Void in states listed as "Play coins only" or "Not available", and wherever prohibited. Sweeps Coins are not available in any state today.

4. How to get Sweeps Coins (how to enter)

Sweeps Coins are never sold. There would be three ways to get them, all free:

A. Daily bonus

Once every [DAILY BONUS PERIOD], an eligible signed-in player can claim [DAILY BONUS AMOUNT] Sweeps Coins. No purchase is needed.

B. Free mail-in request

1. On a plain [CARD SIZE] card, hand-write: your full legal name; the email address on your Fan Fortune account; your mailing address; [REQUEST CODE FROM THE ACCOUNT AREA, IF USED]; and the statement "I request free Sweeps Coins."
2. Put the card in a stamped envelope with your return address and mail it to: [MAIL-IN ADDRESS].
3. One card per envelope. Limit: [MAIL-IN LIMIT] requests per person per [PERIOD]. Requests must be received during the promotion period.
4. Each valid request receives [MAIL-IN AMOUNT] Sweeps Coins, credited within [PROCESSING TIME] of receipt.

Photocopied, machine-printed, incomplete, illegible or late requests, and requests sent in bulk or by a third party, are not valid. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail.

C. Free bonus with League Coin packs

When League Coin packs are on sale, some packs would include a stated number of Sweeps Coins as a free bonus. You would be paying for League Coins only. League Coins cannot be redeemed and have no cash value.

Sweeps Coins may also be given in other free promotions, each announced with its own terms.

5. Equal treatment of free and bonus Sweeps Coins

Every Sweeps Coin is the same however you got it: daily bonus, mail-in request, promotion or pack bonus. All Sweeps Coins can be used in the same games, at the same chances and returns, and are subject to the same prize and redemption rules. Mail-in requests are processed on the same terms as every other source.

6. How games and chances work

• Each game is between two fictional teams. You choose the winner and how many Sweeps Coins to play, from [MINIMUM PER PICK] to [MAXIMUM PER PICK].
• Before you confirm, you see each team's estimated chance of winning and the exact return if your pick is correct. Your chance of winning a game is the estimated chance shown for it.
• Results come from a published, versioned simulation of the players in the game. The same simulation estimates chances (from [NUMBER OF SIMULATED GAMES] per matchup) and decides results.
• The game's inputs are fixed when you confirm. Each game has a receipt you can download to verify the result independently.
• Your pick, the amount played, your balance, your history, any purchase and how you got your Sweeps Coins never change a result.
• Returns follow the published return policy ([SWEEPS COIN RETURN POLICY]). On average a pick returns less than the amount played.
• If a game cannot be completed for technical reasons, the Sweeps Coins played are returned once.

7. Prizes and redemption (proposed terms)

The values below are proposed. They would be confirmed before any launch.

• Prize: cash. Proposed rate: 1 Sweeps Coin = US$1.
• Minimum redemption (proposed): 50 Sweeps Coins.
• Playthrough (proposed): each Sweeps Coin you receive must be played once (1× playthrough) before it can count toward a redemption.
• Verification: identity verification before your first redemption, and a location check when you play and when you redeem (section 8).
• Payment: by [REDEMPTION METHOD], with a processing target of [PROCESSING TIME]. Limits per redemption or period: [LIMITS, IF ANY].
• Pending redemptions (proposed): a redemption request cannot be reversed to keep playing.

8. Verification

Before your first redemption you must verify your identity by giving your legal name, date of birth and home address (street, city, state and ZIP code), plus [ANY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY THE PROVIDER]. These details must match your account and are stored encrypted.

Your location is checked when you play and when you redeem. The Sponsor may ask for more information and may hold a redemption until verification is complete. Sweeps Coins obtained in breach of these rules may be forfeited. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM]

9. Taxes

• The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who uses more than one account, uses bots or scripts, gives false information, hides or fakes their location, or commits fraud.
• If fraud, a technical failure or another cause outside the Sponsor's control affects the fairness of the promotion, the Sponsor may suspend, change or end it, as the law allows and with notice. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM HANDLING OF BALANCES]
• A recorded game result is never changed to favor or disfavor anyone.
• The Sponsor's decisions on these rules are final, subject to the law.

12. Limitation of liability

13. Disputes
